Our jeweller has more than 40 years' experience in the design and manufacture of new jewellery, repairs, remodelling and restoration. We are a specialised full service jewellery repair business which aims to exceed its customers' new or jewellery repair and restoration needs.
Our customers are our business and our jeweller has established long-term relationships through quality service, attention to detail, listening to our customers' needs and meeting their expectations, and reliable repair services as well as on-time delivery of goods.
We can repair most jewellery items deemed by others to be unrepairable.
Services We Offer
Most of us have had a piece of jewellery that has been well worn/broken at some time - a chain, bracelet, ring, brooch etc - or we just want to remodel and change the look or modernise a piece that we have had for a while or inherited. The challenge becomes to find someone that you trust to repair or redesign your treasured item.
At René Jewellery Repairs, we specialise in repairs of damaged, unwearable or broken jewellery – gold, silver, stainless steel, platinum and other metals used in the manufacture of costume pieces. Our business was founded on three main principles: quality, competitive pricing and service, and we pride ourselves on our commitment to them each day.
Repair services are performed using technologically advanced equipment at our on-site workshop. If we feel that we are not able to make the repair in a satisfactory manner, we will not perform the repair. Our pricing is competitive – by going direct to the jeweller, you will avoid those retail overheads.
We offer a comprehensive range of repair services including ring resizing, mountings, diamond and gem replacement, retipping claws, bracelet and chain repair, earring repairs, part replacement (new clasp, closure, lock, hinge), safety chain and charm solders. In addition, we can clean, polish and rhodium plate your jewellery pieces.

All repairs are performed at our on-site workshop, giving you peace of mind that your valuables are kept safe throughout the process. We specialise in laser technology which enables repairs to be made on intricate and delicate pieces. We offer repairs on gold, silver, stainless steel and platinum jewellery, fashion and antique jewellery. We will work one-on-one to discuss options to fix your jewellery.
Remodel and Restore
Guaranteed Precision
Using your existing gemstones, we can create or restyle your ring, pendant, bracelet, earrings or brooch, so that your current jewellery piece will go from looking tired or old-fashioned to look modern and on-trend. We can also plate silver and gold jewellery in another colour (i.e. white, yellow or rose gold).
